Have you missed me!?!?!?! The new blog isn't quite ready yet and it's been months! I wanted to post a few mini blogs before the new blog is in full swing just to let you know that I am still alive, I haven’t turned into a hermit or disappeared off the face of the earth! Life has been CRAZY busy the last few months! The hubs and I bought our first house (a bit of a diy) and after much hard work, many late nights and many, many trips to Austin and Dallas it is finished enough to live in! We finally moved in and even though we are surrounded by boxes we are finally here! I am also still in the process of the biz transformation! The new look and blog are SOOO close! The website has some fun updates and any returning clients will get a chance to use the cool new client viewing portion of the website! I love taking on a million things at once and I definitely have done it! I can't wait for all the changes that are coming!

Here is the first little peak at what you have been missing! My desktop is so full of "waiting to be blogged folders" that I had to post a few! I have been just as busy editing the last few months as I have with the new crib! I'm holding out all the most recent weddings for the official blog launch but here is a little something for now!

Ashleigh is one of the sweetest, most laid back brides I have ever worked with! Her bridal session was so fun! She wanted to to work a coke into her bridals (something her mil had done when she was married.) We happened upon the perfect classic car and in between a lot of laughing and giggling got some fun shots!

Amanda & Ben are so cute! Ben wins best proposal ever! He bought an old book, wrote Amanda a poem in the front cover, cut out an opening for the Tiffany's ring box and even lined the insert for the box with a matching fabric! After Amanda read the poem and turned the page there was that perfect robin's egg blue Tiffany's box!!! Major creativity points to Ben! A few interesting facts about Amanda & Ben... Ben's full name is Benjamin Franklin (no lie!) and while he is over 6 feet tall she is under 5 feet tall! They are super sweet and fun! Here are a few peaks from their engagement session and YES! the awesome book that he proposed with made it to the session!

Several months ago Lauren Kelly and I had a shoot for the launch of her new business Love Milk & Honey. I was so honored to be a part of her new adventure! I absolutely LOVE her new blog and her flair for creativity! The blog is SUPER cute and it provides a lot of interesting and helpful info- especially to all of you soon to be married people! Check out the blog if you haven't stopped by yet! It is pretty fabulous!

Allison was an absolutely beautiful bride! I can't wait to post her wedding photos! Her wedding was SO fun! It was my first time to experience a second line parade and I am convinced that Texas needs to adopt that tradition... stay tuned for those photos!!!
